"The Terry Backpack is so bright and fun - I couldn't wait to take it to the beach! The bottom cooler only holds a little- def drinks for the family, OR, just personal stuff. Make sure drinks are in containers that can't leak on the interior. Because the top cinches, the tall bottles tip inward. It's the perfect personal beach backpack!"

"I had been debating for a long time whether or not to get this backpack because I have so many backpacks! HOWEVER, none of those backpacks had an attached cooler to them (plus I am a Beis addict lol), so I said why not!? This bag looks simple from the outside, but it’s actually designed really well. It really is perfect for a day at the beach or pool, for hiking, going to theme parks… pretty much anything! It has a lot of organizational pockets that Beis is known for, and I especially love this Citron color (and I am SO glad they brought it back for the Sherbet collection). The bag does have a cinch closure that becomes the backpack straps, which does result in the bag not being completely closed on top, but it’s really not a worry because there is a nice huge zippered interior pocket to hold all of the small things that would be able to fall out, as well as Beis’s signature key leash to keep your keys safe and secure. The cooler portion is a nice small personal size. While it can be completely detached from the main bag, just like the convertible weekenders, you don’t HAVE to take it completely off to access it. You can just unzip it to the corner and hinge the top backpack portion back, and then the cooler has a separate zipper on the top to actually open the cooler. I like how you can detach the cooler completely if needed though, and also, you don’t HAVE to store food or drinks in the cooler.. you could also put stuff like a wet bathing suit or just really anything you want to keep separate from the main compartment. Of course, the only thing that you would have to be careful of is rain or just getting the bag overly wet, since the outside material truly is made of Terry cloth. The bag is lined on the inside, but it’s not waterproof (except it is in the cooler). So, you just have to be a little extra careful to avoid lugging a soggy backpack! Other than that, this is a great bag and I look forward to bringing it on more adventures! I also bought the matching Citron towel tote so that I can be the coolest coordinated person at the pool lol!"
