Well it's been two years and the. bag is still going strong. i'm now preggo with baby #2 and thinking about buying this bag again for a refresh (not that I even need a second bag as the first one is still going strong). The clasp is Metal, you can switch the bag from right sling to left sling, and super easy hands free with toddler. I'm actually thinking about getting one for my MIL so she can stay more organized in her "forgetful years""
